Did you hear about the plane with wooden wings, a wooden engine, wooden wheels and a wooden fuselage? It wooden fly! Bada-BUMP-TISH!

*tumbleweed rolls past*

I seem to recall the Hunt Veteran & Vintage book from the late 60s/early 70s referred to the SST mockup as being the centrepiece of a proposed museum at Kissimee, Florida. This museum was supposed to have hundreds of aircraft lined up as future exhibits. Nothing ever came of it, I guess?

Cheers,
Matt

I remember seeing on ebay a few years ago the remains of the mockup for the A20 CAC Wamira.

Yes, the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, Calif., does have the Boeing SST mock up nose, and they operate it up and down on occasion.
