As warbirds exchange hands from time to time (and thus the registry can become a bit dated), you can always try plugging a plane's N# into the FAA database here:

1. The Wiley Sanders collection, Troy, AL. Saw her several months ago waiting on her rebuilt engine to return.

2. Currently listed for sale on courtesyaircraft.com.

3. Still on the web site of the Kalamazoo Air Zoo.

4. Should still belong to "Skyraider Bob" Grondzik in the San Diego, CA area. This was one of the 4 Vietnam escapees saved by Aderholdt and Tallichet and shipped to the US in the early 80's.

Skyraiders rule!

Thanks ... Who owns 126959 N959AD at the moment, and is the Air Zoo Skyraider airworthy?

The Airzoo Skyraider was maintained airworthy years ago when they flew the other aircraft but not flown much due to operating cost i was told, it could be made flyable like the rest of the collection after undergoing maintence or an Iran(inspect and replace as neccesary) work.

Is that the wing of John Ellis's T-28 in Blue Angel markings in that Air Zoo photo ? I always thought that was a sharp looking bird...
I remember John doing a nice formation acro routine in the T-28 along with Pete Parrish in the FM-2 Wildcat back in 1980 or '81...
