I would love to post a pic of my tattoo but I do not know how to upload pics here. I have a T-6 in SAAF markings on my right arm.

Create a Photobucket (or the like) account and upload your picture to that. Then copy it to WIX. Or attach it to an email to me at sdennison@wi.rr.com and I will help. 8) Sallgood!

I had considered getting the 4th FG Eagle with Boxing gloves. I always loved that design.

Thanks for posting my pic. Just to clear the air a little, I worked for Stars and Bars Aircraft from June '98 through July '04 when we moved to Cincinnati and worked at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. I worked for Paul Redlich for 9.5 years and have a huge passion for the T-6 from working for him. The ex-SAAF paint scheme is one that most people don't like, but I learned alot about the T-6 by working on them and have quite the bond with those planes. As some of you may know, the SAAF planes all have the 4 digit number on the sides and they all start with the number 7. My birthday is 5-14 so I felt like making my tatt have some significance to it and made the plane my own. After getting the tatt Paul asked me one day if I knew the history of the plane 7514, which I did not know and had never given it much thought before that. We looked it up in the SAAF Harvard book and it turns out 7514 never flew with the SAAF and was sent to Britain. Therefore 7514 truly is my plane. Just wanted to share that with you.

You did NOT just say that...

I met a guy at our car show this weekend that had a B-25 straight on shot on, across his chest, and a P-51 on one arm and a P-40 on the other arm.
