Interesting. I didn't read anything about it on the site, but I will take another look.

How is the lighting for the grand stands. Are you looking into the sun all day? I have no idea what the layout of Reno is.

Mike

Mike, lighting is excellent at the air races from the grandstands or or ramp area, pits, etc. I've never bought the Reserved Grandstands, and have always been happy with general admission which lets you sit anywhere in the general admission Grandstands.

We must limit politicians to two terms:
one in office and one in jail.

This is true. I've never bought the Reserved Grandstands either. The only problem with the General Admission seats is that they fill up pretty quickly on Saturday and especially Sunday during the Gold Unlimiteds. To get a descent seat on Sunday, you might have to "occupy" your open seating 3 to 5 hours before the final race. The one good advantage of the Reserved seats is that you can continue to go wander the flightline and Pits without worrying about someone taking your coveted seat. Just something to think about.

Bring a T-Shirt and shorts, longjohns and a Parka. The weather can be unpredicatable and variable with extreme temperature variations, all in the same day!

Believe what he say's here. I was at Reno and I believe it was in 2004.I flew into town on friday and it was 90+ degrees.Saturday night it was so cold that I searched downtown Reno to all of the tourist shops trying to find some kind of sweater/Jacket.I had only T-shirts and shorts because it was almost 100 degrees here in so-cal when I left.On sunday when the Unlimiteds finally flew,They were visible only part of the course because they were flying into clouds that were dropping snow.Anybody remember that?
Take a jacket,Gloves,T-shirt,Shorts,Sunscreen and a Prayer.
