No I don't have one, but someone is advertising for one in Trade-A-Plane.
I wasn't aware there were any potentially airworthy projects out there since the NMUSAF took the ex-CAF aircraft.

Or is it well known (and I didn't get the WIX-insider secret memo)? :D

Any details?

There are two restorations to airworthy projects going on at present... both former Walter Soplata machines. C&P have one in Anoka, Minnesota that must be very close to flying again, while Tom Reilly is doing an XP-82 in Georgia. I had heard that Tom was having new propellors made, but perhaps I am wrong. I do know that the Air Force came up with some replacement props for the former CAF P-82.

Cheers,
Richard

The one in Trade a Plane is not the one that was needed. There are several good props out there for the one that spins the normal direction. They could not find the one that spins the opposite direction.

Kinda' threw me there with the F-82 designator. Sorry, but it'll always be a P-82 to me.

Mudge the traditionalist

Thanks for the information.
I'd love to see a F-82 fly...or even a P-82. :D
