The July 2010 Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available from the Warbird Depot website ( http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp ), this month includes:

1. John Lamont flying Rod Lewis' combat veteran and award winning Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb BL628 "Marion" outside of Ardmore Airfield in Auckland, New Zealand.

2. John Muszala flying John Sessions' N.A. P-51B Mustang "Impatient Virgin?", featuring the Malcolm Hood, with Jimmy Leeward flying Jack Roush's N.A. P-51B Mustang "Old Crow" during AirVenture 2008 in Oshkosh, WI. This year’s AirVenture will be held on July 26 - August 1.

3. Fighters & Legends Chance Vought F4U-5N Corsair, being flown by Mike Schiffer, over Lake Winnebago during a Warbird Digest photo shoot at AirVenture 2007.

4. Keith Houston flying the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s rare Fairey Firefly AS Mk.6 enroute to the 2008 Brantford Airshow in Ontario, Canada. The Firefly is painted as VH142/BD-G of No. 825 RCN Squadron which served on the carrier HMCS Magnificent in the 1950's.

5. The Great War Flying Museum's full-scale replica Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a (C-GRJC) flown by Keith Robb over Geneseo, New York. Photo plane was a Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter flown by Richard Sowden.

6. The Commemorative Air Force's Curtiss SB2C Helldiver at the 2009 Geneseo Airshow. The Beech C-45 photo plane was flown by is Craig Wadsworth. This year’s Geneseo Airshow "The Greatest Show on Turf" will be held on July 9-11.

7. Chuck Greenhill of Kenosha, WI in his N.A. P-51D Mustang "Lou IV" rounding pylon 5 at the Pylon Racing Seminar (PRS) in Reno, NV on June 18, 2010. The Mustang had just finished a repaint at Sky Harbour Aircraft on June 10th and Chuck flew it at PRS where he received his Unlimited Class racing license.

8. On his way home from the 2009 Madera Air Show (California), Bernie Vasquez is seen flying the candy company Jelly Belly's Boeing "Stearman" back to the Nut Tree Airport. Powered by a Lycoming engine, this Kaydet started life as a U.S. Navy N2S-3.

9. Jens Meyerhoff departing Casa Grande, AZ in his Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat on March 6, 2010 during the 52nd Annual Cactus Fly-In. The Bearcat was popular for many years with the Kalamazoo Air Zoo before Meyerhoff acquired it from them.

10. Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow RL-203 replica constructed by the Canadian Air & Space Museum (formerly the Toronto Aerospace Museum) on display at the 2010 Wings & Wheels Heritage Festival at Downsview Park. The prototype Arrow, RL-201, first flew March 25, 1958 and one of the prototypes achieved Mach 1.96 before the project was cancelled February 20, 1959.

11. Rod Lewis and Stewart Dawson performing a low pass in Rod Lewis' colorfully marked N.A. B-25J at the 2010 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA. The B-25 is painted in a Lend-Lease scheme of a Soviet B-25.

12, Harbour Air painted this de Havilland DHC-3 Turbo Otter (C-GLCP) for the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, B.C. The aircraft has remained in this paint scheme as it is a passenger and photographer favorite.

All Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available in 1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024. These are the main screen resolutions. We have provided a Screen Resolution Compatibility list on the webpage that shows what other formats apply to each of these resolutions so you can apply the correct resolution for your computer screen. A link to the webpage that outlines the instructions for loading any of the desktop calendar or wallpaper selections is located at the bottom of the page.
