This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

So:
(1) Is 44-13410 now the P-51 that had has the most P-51 warbirds painted after it? Or is Old Crow still in contention?
(2) Who's going to be the first Lou IV owner with the nerve to take off the dorsal fin?
(3) What about this

That's sharp looking... Can't wait to see air to air pictures in formation with "Geraldine"... Now someone needs to paint one up like "Detroit Miss" (come on winning lottery ticket)...

It's not the top one. That one is still at the Olympic Flight Museum in Washington. It will be giving about 40 or so rides this next week and during the airshow.
I think the subject of this thread is Ross Grady's old plane.

Yup, as soon as I saw the right-side shot, "Where's Athelene?" No love for the crew chief...

Really? Which 31st FG was in the Horsemen routine this weekend? They were roped off and parked with the port side away, so I couldn't tell which one it was. I just assumed it was American Beauty, since I "thought" it was the only 31st FG one in the area.
