What a great event. Have been a lurker here for years and a Corsair fanatic since I first saw the Corsair
monument at Sikorsky airport some 30 years ago. Took my son to the show yesterday and had a great day.
Met Warbird Kid and others involved with the CASC and the Corsair monument rescue. A great group of
people dedicated to saving the Corsair and Connecticut's aviation heritage. Enjoyed listening to Jerry O'Neill
and had the opportunity to talk to veterans and active duty military. A big thanks to all involved in putting
this event together, those working to save the Corsair and most of all those who have and those
who currently serve our country.

What's the story on 86? Is that the Corsair they pulled off the stick? Thanks to all who posted there pictures. Guess the CAF's Corsair wasn't there as its been gone from Lancaster for awhile....

Lynn,

Yep, that's the bird that was on the pole. Would be nice to see the CAF Corsair at the show too. If this show has been a success and is done again next year it will probably be a different theme, but maybe in a few years we'll see a bigger and better Corsair Homecoming! 8) It's been a great few days. I haven't had the chance to take a singe picture so I know some of you out there still have some stuff to post. We still have the MEGA car show to go tomorrow but the big aircraft part is now done with. Boy I wish every weekend was like this.

Outstanding job by Jerry O'Neill and all involved.
5 Corsairs in the air Saturday and Sunday.
Nice seeing so many people there too.

Looking at those flying picts of the corsairs really makes me wish I could have stayed! Great job on putting it together and pulling it off.

Thanks Tim!
I wish you could've stayed too!
Sorry we only had a brief talk. That's the hard part of being so involved ini an event like this, there are only little "stolen moments" with all the people you'd really like to chat with.

It was awesome and I hope there are more pics to come from other WIX'ers.

Love the shot of Dan looking at a video replay! True gentleman, showman and friend.
Jerry
