Simply AWESOME Video! Couple things:

1. When did the UK get 2 matching Skyraiders?!!?!

2. What do you call that camera effect where the surrounding outside diameter is fogged/out of focus?

3. When will we start flying those planes like that, over on this side of the pond?!?! :wink:

Chris;
The fogged out edges are an after effect that is done in the editing process. It's pretty easy to make different types and styles of "blurs".

The 'fogged edges' is called 'Vignetting'. and goes back to the earliest days of (still) photography (at least) as a technique.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vignetting

Some of those people flying are American and they put on essentially the same show in the USA. You may have heard of - I can't quite recall the name - think it's 'The Mulemen'? :lol:

There's also people flying from France, Sweden, German and further afield. IIRC (boy I'm out of touch!) one of those Skyraiders is French based.

Nevertheless, I'd suggest that Legends is one of the 'the' warbird shows to get to if you want to see the top shows. And it wouldn't be the same anywhere else; the site's part of the story.

Regards,
