I remember that show,
I was 13 or so.
I am assuming that that is Ken French's tiger moth.
And Yes, that is an amazing amount of trash on the ramp.

WOW, It is amazing to think that the T-Birds have been flying F-16s that long.

Can anyone identify the red and white plane behind the Tiger Moth? Also whats up with that red Star on the PT? We just got a new Tiger Moth at our strip (5c1) yesterday.

Hi Don,

So here is some information you can add to the thread,

Yes that is Ken Frenchs Tiger Moth, the Stinson behind it is a 108-2 that belonged to a guy from Seabrook NH he kept it at Hampden.

As for the PT-19 it was owned by a guy from Rochester NH and was hangered next to Dan McQue's Stearman, has for the Red Star if I recall he was a Russian guy hence the Star.

The date of the show is fall 1984 and the photo's are from Sunday when everyone was getting ready to leave. Fifi and the B-24 headed up to Portland Maine for a few days. Other Warbirds their that weekend included New England Esquadrilles C-47,Great White Fathers T-28,Doug Shlutz in Crazy House,Dean Martin with one of the Fougas he had just brought in,Ken Laughtin with one of his T-28s and T-34s,Bob Colsan with his SNJ-5,Reese and Hank with their T-6s. Bob Davidson was their with his Mustang also. I'm sure I'm missing a few others.

That was a great show we had the Happy Hooligan guys do a Demo in the F-4s they tore the place up. Also MASS Ang came down with their F-102s and the FB111s based at Pease did their usual fun. Show two B-52s for Loring did a low hot pass on Sat.
