Ex-Tallichet aircraft?

Hmmm, Is this aircraft in Arizona? If it is at NWR airport it's well hidden....

I'm sure some of the D/FW locals will know the answer to this: Doesn't Glen Hyde own the C-117 that's based at Denton?
The C-123 would be a good fit for the OV-10 guys' museum, since their theme is Viet Nam and the Cold War era.

The C-123 is in Tucson. It is in pretty good shape and more or less complete except for the jets.

OK, is it up for a free donation, or for sale for 125K? Also, doesn't it say it's located in Roanoke, TX? Or is the owner located in Texas?

The owner is in Texas. The plane is in Pima's storage area. As I understand it he is willing to donate to a museum, anybody else who wants it would have to pay. Externally it is in pretty good shape except the jet pods and pylons are removed.

Is the C-123 able to be returned to flight status, or has it been de-milled? If it's not permanently grounded, any guess as to how much it would cost to get a set of pylons and jet engines, and other things it might need to fly?

Col. Rohr asked me to post this via Facebook: "I talked to Mr. Hyde and the plane isn't free; it's $75,000 plus a tax write off. The plane is an Ex-Contra Bird and is in Arizona. And no it's not an Ex-Tallichete plane."
Zack
Disclaimer - I personally know absolutely nothing about this airplane.
