Paging jamesintuscon/ Swamp Ghost

Are you at liberty to give us some insight on the plans to bring Swamp Ghost to Pima? Will it be placed on display as is or will at least some restoration take place on it? If it is to receive some restoration, will that interfere with the other projects underway there?

Also, can someone fill me in as to why everything associated with the future of this airplane is such a secret?

I'm really not in a position to provide enlightenment on this subject. When and if I can add to the discussion I will.

Thanks James. We are all looking forward to any info you might be able give us in the future.

Some owners prefer to keep things under wraps until they figure things out and/or restore the aircraft. It's their decision. I can see the point of doing things that way, though I wouldn't do so and haven't chosen that path before. Usually the best thing to do is wait for info to be provided. 2 cents provided

And remember guys, there are those of us who talk about this stuff online and those who do the stuff we talk about. There are only so many hours in a day and those who 'do' are usually frantically trying to get things done. More times than not, the questions we have here on WIX have no answers yet. I am sure there is a lot of work being done right now just getting this rare and controversial bird to her new home. I for one am thrilled to know something is happening, even if I don't know exactly what that is.
