Thanks for the replies Guys! It was a AWESOME weekend! Visited the large hangers with my "flying buddies" on the 23rd last month. This trip I took along the Colonel and the Major so I wouldn't have to ride the "tour bus" and we could stay as long as we wanted. Restoration Hanger tours are only offered on Fridays and Friday night was their "Open Cockpit Tour" where they roll up the ramps to 16 planes and open the canopies for "look'n & pic tak'n. Happens only once a year. Don't know where to dump 400+ pics on here, so I searched for a few planes.
Belle led to the Swoose.
When we first entered the Resto Hanger, there sat Kennedy's Air Force One, freshly Imron painted. It was transferred to the Presidential Hanger EARLY the next morning and we were the first "on board". Tight fit with the Connie, "Sacred Cow" and other LARGE Presidential planes in there!! Made a DVD of the first visit, now working on the latest. Guess I'll search the board some more for matching links/topics.
Your sugggestions are most welcome!
Wes
