Hi all, this airplane is the subject of a long term restoration with us. I will post some pics as soon as is possible, we have a sketchy history for it, something like this;
Manufactured Santa Monica as serial number 2008 on 19 April 1938, Delivered to United Airlines as NC18942, 1938. Accident at Moline, Ohio (United Airlines Flight #8), 20 December 1942. Aircraft repaired.

N80R, Winn-Dixie Stores, Jacksonville, Florida, rebuilt by Leaward Aviation, Miami, Florida, 12 January 1956. Winn-Dixie Stores, Jacksonville, Florida. Incident on 18 July 1967, when the aircraft groundlooped on a wet runway at Crystal River, Florida and substantially damaged Bell 47G N54047, parked nearby.

We have absolutely no photographs of it before 1978 or further information above that contained in the logs or on the internet. If anyone has more info, also on the two incidents noted above, that would be most interesting too!
