NEAT FIND! Did you catch the PILGRIM and the STINSONS? 300,000 passengers in 1933, the Noon news here on KING TV is preceded by Ellen DeGeneris' show where in the end credits is the following voice over 'American Airlines, 200,000 people on 3800 flights every day' or- 52.6 passengers per plane

A lovely piece.

Shocking the outright exaggeration and obfuscation by the airline PR department. I thought that was a modern invention. LOL !!

Maybe, but when was the last time the airline picked you up in a Chrysler Imperial Limosine or a big Lincoln?

Hi Airplanejunkie,

What a beautiful preserved movie with magnificent sights! I enjoyed very much and hope to fly once in a restored Condor!
Thank you very much for posting!

Kind regards
Hans, Switzerland

For sure a "period piece." Only marginally better is the treatment of women...at least they were allowed on the airplane.
