The cool thing about the airport I am based at is that we have three runways, and one of which is a 2,400 grass strip!

Before you get too excited about buying you better see if you can get financing first. I had some co-workers who spoke with no less than 5 aircraft lending institutions and were turned down because it was an antique airplane, gave interest rates that were above 10%, required a 20% down payment, and several other reasons. They then tried various local banks and credit unions and could find no one.
