Hi,

I'm looking to find some manuals and details pics for a Cletrac Tug.
I see in many pics the Cletrac but i don't find a lot of documentation about it.

I don't know if this could help with the info you want, but the 1970s issue of Monogram's 1/48 B-24J also included a 1/48 Cletrac. I don't know what all details & info may be in the models, 'cause it's been over 30 years since I've seen & built the kit. They show up on eBay, like everything else, regularly. I'm thinking that a model of the Snark missile, maybe Lindberg's & possibly the really old Monogram Mace missile kit both come with Cletracs, so there may be additional info in those kits.

Here's another link to some Cletrac information: http://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68693 There was also a thread on G503 a year ago or so as I recall.

There are a few of them still out there and if anyone wanted to donate one to VFM I'd sure take them up on the offer!

I can help you with manuals and technical information. We have three projects here to make one and then the other two will be available for trade when we are done. We also have a good stash of extra parts too.

Do you have a project?

Taigh,
I'd love to see pictures when you all start the restoration! I've always loved WWII tugs... We were looking for one to restore, but settled on a relatives '49 Ford 8N  It looks pretty retro when we pull the T-6 out!

HI,

Thanks for your answers.

My project is to build one in 1/32 to go with my F5 E-2 Lightning Reco to make a diorama.
I have the 1/48 Cletrac from Monogram but not good to make it in large scale.

Drawings, manuals and pics are welcome.

Cheers
SPang
