Science Museum London 9th Feb 2009
A few shots from a visit to the Science Museum in London a couple of weeks ago. As always I made a bee line to the Flight Hall. Its a treasure trove of one of a kind and record breaking aircraft.

SE.5A is its post WW1 sign-writing guise, its the sister aircraft of the Shuttleworth example.
Roe Triplane, the second built and flown just over 100 years ago.

Finally, the only Steam Engine I will ever get remotely interested in, the Daddy. Stephenson's Rocket!

Always a favourite of mine since I went on a School trip in the 70s, to do the whole museum properly would take a couple of days
