I was thinking it might be fun to take all the little notes of encouragement from the thread, copy paste them in and do it as a big card......then the shear number of posts set in and I thought the better of it! Still, might be fun!

Keep that bilge pump working Jeff! No sinking allowed.

First, any updates on Jeff?

Hope you are getting better Jeff. Enough of that hospital crap....Get out of there while you still have all your vital organs!

Get well soon, you are missed on this site!

No one has seen fit to pass along any info for the last couple of days so I'm taking that as a good sign. I'll try to find out today what the scoop is, but the weather here is unsettled and I may wind up having to go into work so don't expect any news too quickly.

Ok, I got a response quicker than I anticipated. It's kind of old news as I am getting this second and third hand.

As of Friday evening......

Quote:
So Jeffy is holding his own. He has a massive infection and fever,
but the respirator tube is out, he is maintaining his own blood pressure
without medication, and the new intestinal plumbing they installed is working
as designed. He is far from out of danger, but he has improved incrementally.
His medications have made him delerious, perhaps not so much of a change
from normal. Today he was given a day without visitors to rest up. I know
Bonnie, his parents Pauline and Walt, and sister Jen appreciate visitors,
as they have been eating and sleeping in the waiting room all week.

Praying the infection goes away! And a speedy recovery on all fronts.

Positive vibes and thoughts going out to Jeff.. A big hug to all the family, with wishes that Jeff's spirit and spunk will soon see his recovery gaining momentum. Hang in, as tough as an N3N, Jeff...

I know there are a lot of posts here, but Mrs. Mudge did that for me when I was "post-surgery" some years ago.
It was a real treat for me and lifted my spirits immeasurably.

I think Jeff would enjoy reading these posts. I'd be happy to do it, (Us retired people don't have to be anyplace),
but I'm afraid by the time I got it done and mailed to him, he'd be out of the hospital.
If there's someone who will take the printout to him, give me your address by PM and I'll "git r done".

Mudge the idle

Mudge, might be a simple matter of totin' a laptop to him and bringing up WIX. I'd be surprised if hospitals don't all have WiFi or equivalent these days. Thank goodness I'm not current on hospital staying at present, so don't really know.
