 Post subject: Two C-130s Going Away

GC-130As 56-524 and 54-1637 are being scrapped at Goodfellow AFB. They were flown in, IIRC, from the Tennessee ANG around 1991 for the Fire School for use as simulation trainers. Engines, wings, and empennage off of -1637 are in a heap to one side along with props and engine nacelle panels from -524. Will try & get some pics, but the Security guys are real antsy about cameras here lately.

Note: quick edit: 54-0524 should have read 56-524, and has been changed.
