Mudge a bolter is where the hook fails to snag one of the 4 CDPs (wires)
and and aircraft flies off the angel deck for another landing attempt. This is why they
go to full power when after they 'hit' the deck.

OK...I knew they went to full power in case they missed all the cables. Just didn't know that was called a "bolter".
