The young tow pilot lost in the accident near Boulder was Alexander Gilmer, who was a Marine reservist and who had served in Iraq.
I didn't know him well, but had talked to him several times and been towed by him. He seemed to be a very down to earth and nice guy. He was from Evergreen which is just to the west of Denver.
