I've known Tom for many years, he fought the cancer as hard as he could! He was always a very gracious person and a great EAA and warbird supporter! You will be missed, Tom and never forgotten, Gods speed buddy!!

Thanks Vlado for posting!

That's terrible and very sad. Although, I never knew him, I always appreciated when he brought his collection to some of the major airshows in the Midwest. My condolences to his family and friends. This is not a good start to the year, as in the last month, 3 of my friends have passed away on me. :(

Dammn, that one hurts. I knew he was sick, but I always had hope.
I have know Tom about as long as I have been in warbirds. I'd see him at shows and here in Aspen where he owned as house and often visited. I flew with him a number of times.
He was a nice guy, above all.
Condolences to his family.

This is really sad to hear. I was just there a few weeks ago. Another great warbird leader has passed.

Very sad news. I didn't know him personally, but saw him fly at many midwest airshows over the years. Condolences to all his family and friends.

Could somebody please post up a quick Bio and maybe a pic or two for those of us who never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Woods?
