I have to apologize for yet another mixup. The triple whammy of my parents passing away late last year, a diagnosis of depression and now heart problems has left me with the feeling that I dont know if I'm coming or going half the time. I'm going to cut down on posting stuff until I'm more coherent.

Hey, sorry to hear all that Pat. Don't be a stranger, though, the big, happy, WIX family can put anyone's problems in perspective as we argue over the most mindless trivia...

I've just made a note to try and swing by the B-24 project in the near future and get an update.

Cheers

Very cool.., she looks great and you could eat off of that belly turret!!!!!

I wouldn't try to eat off that turret, you'll have a bunch of blokes with spanners trying to rearrange your skull if you do!

Chad, did you try the highlighted link here? It comes through fine for me.

I salute everyone involved in that restoration. All the pieces I've seen are stunning. I note that the restoration crew had to build up a new bomb bay keel beam, exactly as I had been planning (even though I was told it was "too big a project") for the airplane I used to work on.

Interesting. It worked for me in your quote, but not the original post.
