I just got a scanner for Christmas, and am going through some of my old photos. I have some warbird ones, and thought you guys might like a look.

The crew I worked with


B-17 "909" prior to getting her new engines.

B-17 "Movie Belle" needing nose art when it came in


After working on the plane, they put my name on the nose. At that time it carried crew position names of different people that had worked on it of flew it, not the real crew names.

That is the one and only Bob Huddock. Great friend and taught me an amazing amount about flying. The first time I met him, he came up to me ridding a bike, but he was sitting on the handle bars facing backwards and pedaling. He said, "Hey you want to go flying with me?"
