Joe, that's usually our first starting pont with an aircraft that has significant history of it own. Unfortunately this Lockheed was a MAP aircraft and was sent to the Royal Netherlands AF when new, then brought back into civilian ownership in the 70s. It has no USAF history that we can find.

Wow, very nice pics of the operational T-33's.

The problem with most if not all of the restored T-33's is that they are so often painted unaccurately with the wrong shades of colors and not correct fonts for the markings. I've already often said it, it's still a mystery to me why an aircraft owner dont' want one's aircraft painted as it was during its operational life, especially when the documentation is easily available and when it doesn't cost more to make an accurate finish rather than a "so-so" one.

Btw, what always amazes me when looking at a T-33, is that its lines are just intemporal, this aircraft still look modern now.
