FYI,

I sequestered Bill's post because in 24 hours we had six pages of messages that had degenerated to shouting matches and strange comparisons to death camps. In an effort to prevent an all out flame war the post has been removed. Sorry if that annoys anyone.

that was intended to be funny. Sorry if it went overboard.

I am sorry the topic that I posted has been removed. I certainly don't believe that I wrote anything about "death camps" . I don't recall anyone else writing that either, maybe Sara Palin made a posting and I didn't see it.

While there was strong disagreement between the sides that on one hand thought passengers should be treated properly and the side that thought the airlines should have no boundaries, I thought it was a good discussion and that both sides brought out some good points, facts such as govt records and ideas and concerns of both sides.

And I certainly thought the topic fit WIX, in three ways. One it is about aviation, two it fits under airlines, like the 787, and three, since almost all warbird people will and do travel by airlines also, it is of personal interest.

Finally the topic came right off current news headlines, it was not just opinion or something I made up.

I must have missed the death camp comment? I thought this thread was going well and certainly worth debating.

On the other hand, I stopped reading the thread after the first page or so, because I wasn't learning anything. I think debating airlines is an awful lot like debating politics...

guys that was me with the death camps and I was trying to be silly and it came off creepy. Sorry to kill the thread. I thought it was an interesting thread and am sorry to be the dimwit that screwed it up.
