This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

How about Tri-State's Corsair. Is it close to flying again?

What is Kermit Weeks restoring these days. Has "Whistlers Mother" flown yet?

Well there's this old girl:

She's been ready to fly for about 6 months now following a restoration started in 1987
(the year I was born!
). Just one little thing after another holding her back.
Once we get warmer weather in Tillsonburg
(and the test pilot is available), she'll be back in the air for the first time since 1946!

There is no A-20 at Yanks, so that is not it. The A-20 is at Aero Trader and IS being restored to fly.

As far as the Tri-State warbird museums P-40 they are planning on Oshkosh. The corsair is still a couple of years away from flying last time I was there they still were not working on it.
As far as restoratioins coming out how about the F-82 in Minnesota, any idea how long for that one.

Yes, that is correct. What bdk meant is that all are at Chino, not necessarily all at Yanks. That's where the confusion was.

I haven't heard of the Panther being restored to fly. Is this the POF's? I didn't know any restoration work had already begun on this. BDK, can you set the record straight?

I understood that Kermit's A-26 was at Aero Trader, as is the A-20. I assume this is "Whistler's Mother"; is this true and is it flying soon
bdk? As
bdk wrote, hopefully A-20 will fly this year.
Yes, Kermit's A-26 is named "Whistlers Mother"
