What a great build. You did an amazing job on the finish.

mazdaP5 - what Accurate kits did you have problems with? I picked up an Accurate TBM-1C (the Flight 19 boxing) on the cheap at Hobby Lobby this weekend and while the instructions leave plenty to be desired, it looks like a sweet kit. I've read lot of glowing reviews of them on the net, so I'm curious as to what problems you had...

One was a TBM, well over 10 years ago so I can't quite recall the details, but I do remember the instructions were drawn pretty poorly with no real regard to angles and scale. I do remember the details of the model were crisp, but it was just a hard build, one of these kits that you buy for hobby but cause undue stress. The other was the F2G corsair, which had the same problems with the instructions. There was also no tabs, on anything, you had to be very precise lining parts up because of this. I understand this kit was a re-issue of a different companies, so the tabs part may not be their fault, but the booklet sure was. I guess I'm just spoiled by Tamiya and Hasegawa, those kits are more relaxing to build. Still, some subjects only have AM to go with, so you do what you have to do.

THis SBD build is just fantastic though.
