Jack, here's one that I'm sure you will buy, since you love his character so much on "Black Sheep Squadron".

BTW, the real actor, Jeb Adams is now a successful realtor in Southern California, having long since retired from acting, in case anybody wanted to know.

That's a killer!
I can just see old Jeb flying that Corsair now! I understand he can only really fly it well and in serious situations when he has the Bee Gees playing the "Saturday Night Fever" Soundtrack on his cassette recorder when he flies!

To be retired from acting suggests that he could act in the first place

Good point! He did what every actor and actress does initially in Hollywood - relied on his looks. I can just see him disco-dancing in the Sheep's Pen along with Boyington while listening to the Bee Gees and Donna Summer.

He may not be able to shoot down any Zero's but at least he can boogie! LOL!

Why does it say "shirtless"? Looks like he has a shirt on. But you know these old eyes.

Typical Hollywood story: Like so many smart actors/actresses, he didn't blow his pay and residuals; he went into real estate. So as in the photo, he didn't lose his shirt

That was one joke they missed in Hot Shots! - they should have had one pilot abort his mission when the enemy shot out his CD player, leaving him without his theme music...

What's the old joke about "one of the few humans that can live off dead Beatles". Yoko Ono.

Mudge the grim

Looked Jeb up on IMDB and it turns out he's the son of actor Nick Adams, who played ex-Confederate soldier Johnny Yuma on TV. I guess that explains the name Jeb Stuart Adams! He sure doesn't look like his father, though - and too bad Nick died when Jeb was only six.

This character always reminds me of the episode where they had a night fighter Corsair in their unit, and went on a night mission. It was this young guy who was the only one that knew how to operate the radar.
