Dang! We must be famous.

I never knew being part of the "All Knowing and Absolutely All Factual Information All The Time Warbird Experts Website" or better known as the website called WIX, would get us such notoriety.

It's the internet, we are all armchair experts in our own field.

Finalizing estates is definitely tough, let alone having to deal with the loss of the loved one in the first place. Best of luck.

Perhaps posting photos and descriptions here would help you move the items? Many of us here have uses for your items or know people who do. As opposed to a inferred difficulty, WIX could potentially be your best friend. Food for thought. Good Luck!

Thomas,

This is an enthusiast's site and often survives on rumors and third-hand information. Oftentimes someone states what they think to be true on this site, only to be corrected by another and so on until a pretty accurate story/history develops. In general warbird owners keep much to themselves, so all we have at hand is speculation. I'm sure you don't want three hundred enthusiasts calling and e-mailing you for information that have no intention of buying anything, so I think this is a good place to set the record straight.

A friendlier approach might be more appropriate to meet your objective of selling this stuff though.

You might find that there are some real knowledgeable people here that can help.

Well said. Tom, what you experienced was a typical conversation on WIX. Someone finds something that he/she thinks might interest the group and then the chat begins. As more people contribute, more facts surface.

You will find that this group, the "WIX Brain" as I call it, is a tremendous resource. You could benefit greatly from their knowledge and contacts. Be not afraid. We start with questions and hope to get to facts through the knowledge of many.

Can we help you?
