Over 20 years ago while I was watching TV, talking on the phone with a customer and doing billing simultaneously, my wife stated, rather loudly and insistently, "You need to get a hobby!".

Well, she no longer has that complaint (I subsequently embraced warbirds) and we are still married. She has been to aviation museums and open cockpit days with me and I have visited her folks...a small price to pay for the right life companion.

Best to you,
John

Chris,

My heartfelt congratulations.

My wife (of 42 years) doesn't exactly embrace my warbird hobby, but I'll have to say she's pretty good about my frequent stops to look at airplanes. She even bought me a bumper sticker for my car that said "Caution. This Car Stops at All Airports".

You'll have to bring her by Charleston on your way to or from Florida. She needs to see the Yorktown.

Walt

Thanks guys. Jack, that was great. I can hear that music now. One of the cool things about her is that she says that she loves that fact that I am passionate about aviation, and that I am active in it. She is really supportive. She is even coming to Oshkosh next year with us. SO the WIX cookout group will get to meet her. She is alot of f un, and I see now why they say to Marry someone that is your best friend. She is from Savannah, GA originally and we are planning a trip to see some of her family there. She walked into the room the other day and said, "Hey while we are there, do you want to go see that B-17 that the 8th AF Museum just got?" I almost fainted. Ha Ha.
