Congrats Chris!! :drink3:

I got married myself this past summer..like you, I was married once before (briefly) to someone who didn't "get" my obsession with old airplanes. My new wife does..we even worked in a visit to NMUSAF on our honeymoon. Actually, we went there on our first official date (she considers the B-24 her namesake!)

I would love that. We are talking about getting married on the beach in Florida(she has family there) and our reception at the NMNA. Not sure if that will happen or not.

Ellen and I send our congratulations also! If it's any indication of success, Ellen had a '70 Roadrunner when we were dating and it's been over 26 years of marriage for us.

THanks everyone. This place is like a second family. I remember the first WIX Gathering I was going to at Oshkosh, my other friends were saying, "So where are we going?" And I said, "To meet this group of guys I met on the internet." I got a very quiet car after that.

Congrats! Now i'll have to make sure you spend your time night shooting instead of hanging in the beer tent.

Congrats CHRIS!!!!!! :D

If you get warbirds on your wedding day.............CONGRATS!!! I tried getting to drive the deuce-n-half from the church to the reception............that was a no go. Was going pretty good at the reception when low-n-behold my deuce is driving in and up to the main doors of the reception hall!!! My buddy went and brought it too me. My wife went NUTS and we had our first official fight as a married couple!!! I reasured her that I did not know and it was a suprise to me as it was to her. I really did not care that she was pissed............the 1/2 bottle of "THE Doctor" before the ceramony and the shots at reception took care of that..........I was just happy to see my truck!!!! That was 6 yrs ago and we are still together. The truck is gone but others have taken her place.............even tho my wife hates FLYING, she wanted to go in the biplane. I told her that if she went in a stearman the wings would fall off cause termites live there. But she has been in the N3N a couple of times :D
