I know it is OT and will be locked or deleted soon, but as alot on here know, I have been unemployed for a while and have been selling off my guns, a Goldwing and a 67 Mustang to try and keep my head above water. Well I had a interview today that lasted 90min and we got to talking money and start dates. The money is $2 a hr more than I was making at the last place, so it looks promissing, so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me.

Matt

Good luck man, I feel your pain. With construction off, my dayjob, architectural illustration has been off 70-80% for the last year. Slowly starting to come back, but the cupboard is BARE! That leaves me plenty of spare time here on WIX!!! Actually, my sideline of aviation art is slowly picking up as well, which in this economy says something. Keep us posted to your status.

Hang in there, Matt. I was in the same spot from July through October. No fun for you now, but don't despair--it will work out.

Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. This is a particularly bad time for many people (my company is downsizing and cutting salaries- mine  ). I really hope this will work out for you. And for all, I hope our country's economy and job situation improves SOON !!!

Was on the delivery end of giving out two layoff notices this week. It sucks nearly as much to give them as to get them. I've been on both ends of the operation.
