Here's a couple of pictures of the recently completed restoration of this aircraft,which is flying locally in Honduras for AVIAC (Aerovias Centroamericanas).A second aircraft of the same type will be ready in coming days.

I recall years ago of a company around Oshkosh that was restoring and refurbishing C-47's for private and corporate use. What happened to them? Are they still around?

THey are still there, that is Bassler Aviation.

Yes,they are working planes and will be flying locally in Honduras.
