Gary,
Not if you use another window  ....yeah, the photo window is somewhat blocked by the shell chute and the gun mount itself. The quarter windows to each side still give one a good view

It's been a dozen years or so since I bucked rivets and such on a PV-2, so here's a question for Dave, Gary, Jen, PJ, and any other Harpoon gurus out there:

I seem to recall hearing that the tunnel/ventral gun mount on the PV-2 is the same "Bell Adapter" unit used in the tail of B-25's. Is that accurate? Just curious.

Gun mount rail is about the same...the mount for the rails is where the differance is. The unit is a Bell product, just as on the B-25....I'll get some photos and try and post them for you. I still do not have plexi dome however ,so it's not quite complete

No apologies, Mr. Hansen--you're paying the bills on all this. There's a reason most PVs don't have the ventral mount installed. The general public may not appreciate all the rare goodies you're adding to this project, but WIXers do. Keep up the good work!

Oh well, at least there's something now to hold onto when the pilot throws the coal to the engines! Can't wait to see the installation!
