Hi All,

I did a search but did not find this years air show photos, so here's a link just sent to me by a buddy, in case you all haven't seen some photos from this show yet.

Thanks for the pictures- what a great show!!! Unfortunately I had a gig in Tijuana that day-- darn. Having to bus sucks- I guess the days of driving to your parking spot on the base are gone forever.

Not strictly true. The parking was on-base, albeit some way away from the main show area. Buses were provided to get to the flightline, a walkway was provided as an alternative and plenty of people chose to walk (about 1.3 miles according to the signs)

Some of my shots from Edwards here

Thanks for posting all those photos, especially of B-52 008. I worked on that aircraft a few times from '66-'69 along with her sister, 003.
Nice to see that the two large hangars down near Base Ops have been painted and look a little nicer.

Great photos!
Looks like one heck of a show!

(BTW Pacific Prowler is not a CAF airplane....I guess he didn't know about the tramp stamps ... hmmm are they working? )

Is the Edwards show an annual event? I dream of Reno, but if I can't make it next year Edwards would be nice.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

This was my first year attending the Edwards show and, from what I heard, it was the first show they held since 2006. I also heard that they may not do a show every year...and that there may not be a show next year (but I guess we'll just wait and see).

Group,

Edwards AFB has airshows every other year.
The last show did not happen because they were redoing the runway.
The next Airshow should be in 2011.

I was at this years show, and it was a mess.
Took an 1 1/2 hrs to get in and 1 1/2 hours to get out.
Had friends who took 2-3 times that in and out.
Hope they do better on traffic control at the next show.

Laterrrrr
