Finally got some pictures of the Collings Foundation T-33 airborne ! Pictures were shot from the back of the Skyhawk on the return to Houston from the Randolph AFB show on Monday. Rick Sharpe flying the T-33, Tom Gegory III flying the TA-4. It was my first chance to fly the Skyhawk since we started the project, it's GREAT !! I felt obligated to shoot the photo of myself in the Skyhawk, I apologize in advance for the results ! :D

Sorry for what?! How often can one get a ride in a Skyhawk?! I'd have posted more than one of myself if it was me, ha!

Anyway, great shots Rick. Thanks for posting them.

Ride ? Tom asked what I wanted him to do on the flight. I told him that I wanted him to put his hands in his lap !! I did get to fly some very loose formation on the T-33 before we got close to Houston's Class B and we took the lead. :D

What T-33 is that? Is it the one that was at Stow, MA for many years or another one?

That is not the T-33 that was/still is at the foundation here in Stow. The airframe that was here, is still here.

Rick - you be sure and let me know if you guys ever get an invite to come out West (Reno or Aviation Nation)to another show - I'd be more than happy to piggy back and make it a more profitable trip for you and more affordable for us!
