The plane was serial 2054 DC-3A- Manufactured in 1937, registered as N143D painted and usually based at Griffin Spalding Airport in Griffin, Georgia. I imagine a position has opened with the company that had this guy working for them.

I hope Homeland Security doesn't out law the DC-3 as a weapon of mass destruction!

That is just bizarre behavior, sounds like he's off his meds! At least no one was hurt.

That guy sure had a "major malfunction". First time I've heard a DC-3 used as a weapon. :oops:

It was a well planned terrorist attack. At least I would bet those fine enforcement officers saw it that way. What were the original officers job..........plumbing inspector, housing inpector, or what?

I hate to hear about stuff like this happening. Aviation is under the microscope close enough without this kind of junk going on. I too am glad nobody got hurt. Them Gooney Bird props can do some damage. :evil:
