Fantastic photos! They really "whet" my appetite for some water flying.
I just commented on that Albatross in a recent but separate thread. How much do you know about the details of its reincarnation?
It appears to me that the engines are not completely standard; typically the R-1820-76 series powered Albatrosses do not have a top scoop on their engine cowlings. This one does (the engine cowlings appear to be standard for a -76 otherwise.)
Usually only the -82 powered versions of the Albatross (the last 16 built; c/n G-449 through G-464) originally had top scoops on their cowlings and the cowlings themselves were also different. They were slightly bulged in appearance and had different exhaust and cowl flap arrangements.
I noticed the same or at least similar deviation from historical standard on another recently restored/upgraded Albatross. I believe that one was N44HQ.
I was just curious to find out if this was evidence of some kind of engine swap or upgrade. Someone else had commented that there is a significant difference in the respective availability and cost of -76 engines compared to -82's (in addition to a 100 hp performance difference.)
Anything that you can add would be appreciated.

NICE airplane, if you come by the north TEXAS area i'll be glad to hold one of the seats down for you.

Thanks for the photos Maxair2air. Being a flying boat buff myself, nothing is as thrilling as seeing a big boat 'on the step'.

Yes, this is C&P's Albatross, (Another essay, coming up this Winter).
