What airplane did you see flying today?(airplane spotting)

Friday at BOI...E4B, 6 x F-15C, 4 x A-10
Today at BOI...NATO E3A, 4 x F-15C

One day last week, we had two A-10's on Final, two F-15's in the initial, and a TF-51 on the roll all at the same time. 45 minutes later a 3 x F-18. Been busy and a blast!

Today I saw a Cessna 150, Embraer 145, Canadair Regional, UH-60 Blackhawk, and CH-47 Chinook fly while at flight school

You don't see markings on current USA military aircraft like that much.

well im right next door to KDFW and ive seen the same DC-3 fly take off on a south/west direction its shiney and orange nose...... anyone have a clue what its doign around here? not that im complaining ... who doesnt like to hear a round motor lumbering by over your house.

The DC-3 is most likely Flagship Detroit.

The P-3 is part of NAWC-23, a very shadowy unit. They have 2 such P-3's and neither have any sort of markings to identify the airframe or the unit. There are several articles on it, but this I think is the best that talks about what the plane is used for -

20 miles west of RDU airport (Raleigh, NC) a B-25 heading west, my guess it was at about 4000'. At least it looked like one. Definitely, twin engine round motors. Just about zilch on wing taper and had twin rudders. Because of a couple of factors I was only able to get a glimpse of it.

LSFM's B25 heading west over League City this AM around 9AM - I assume heading to Randolph.

Two F-15's.

Sitting here at my desk and I heard a jet and thought "Gee that sounds like an F-15." I did not make it to the window in time, a second later my father came rushing in and said two F-15's just went by.

I'm quite proud of myself picking them out by ear. :lol:

We rarely get anything that interesting around here. (Central NJ)

We were at the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway today. The flyover was performed by a B-52!

What a pleasant change from the typical F-16s!

On Saturday, at Frederick, Maryland (FDK) someone was taking their AT-6 out for a flight. It was silver with a red cowl (IIRC) and World War II stars and bars. Definitely a beautiful plane...and the radial engine just had a wonderful sound to it. Mechanical music.
