Gary Austin's family has contacted me and they wish to extend their heartfelt thanks for all the comments and love shown for Gary.

On behalf of all of us at WRG/WIX, i want them to know that Gary was respected and loved by us all and he will be sorely missed.

Many thanks Scott... I'm very glad to know that the Austins know how much Gary meant to us all. He helped me out of a pinch on a number of occasions, and was always such a great chap in every sense of the word. I really miss him.

As disconnected as this may sound......

I am sure if they are reading all the threads related to his passing away......

They will for sure learn & realize how much his personalia impacted all of our lives at many levels.

I apoligize if this does not sound right due to language translation on the fly....

But yes he did that and more, and execpt for a few close friends....no one expected this.

For me ( even over the web ) it all started with: "So Gary, what is the plan for Dimond Lil"

I am proud to say that the corrugated floor was sourced to a link of mine.

thanks for the notice scott. literally, posts came out of the woodwork WORLDWIDE!! posters who i've never seen, even newbies!! it is a testimonial of the respect, care & vision that was given to gary & that he deserved. he was a leader in the warbird movement. friendship to those who he interacted with was automatic! for sure!! i hope his family takes solace in the out pouring / flooding of support for him & his loved ones, from myself, other friends, & anonymous friends. i toasted him due west the other night, the good stuff, he derserved no better!!
