So sorry Gary didn't make it down here - we could have used a guy with his talents right here on the field at Omaka - a quick glance at the beauty that surrounds us, a cold beer, a joke about his accent - and then straight to work on what he did best.
I hope he finds something similar where he is now, and the pain that you and others close to him fades to a dull ache with the passing of time.

I have not been able to post on any threads; tears are flowing almost non-stop. Your words helped. You are special and your thoughts about another special man are a bit comforting.

Brad, please accept my condolences in the loss of your friend and thank you for going to the effort to write such a caring and insightful post. I'd know Gary for a couple of years here and will always fondly remember a day I spent with him in Midland a couple of summers ago.
