CH-46 HMM-162 SVN 1969 resupply flown by 1Lt T.O. Bong

diito landing to pick up troops in LZ SVN

After being downed on first combat tour HMM-362. He was shot down 4 times!

When I saw the title to this blog I thought My Cuz (Bluehawk 15) was writing about me. These are much more interesting.

And here I thought the same thing, but the other way around. I thought Cuz Ober had posted some photos of ME, either flying the U-11 or Yellow Rose (or on the dance floor!).

Thanks DZ we needed a laugh after the depressing news about Gary. But in defence of my good little Cuz.......it was an awfully cute goat!
