fate of two C-133's at Mojave

Does anyone know the future for the two C-133's still stored in Mojave? :(

I believe they are/were owned by the Alaskan chap (Maurice Carlson) who recently donated the last airworthy C-133 to Travis AFB Museum. My guess is that they will be scrapped, sadly. I can't imagine anyone could afford to move them. Sad, but true.

They've been sitting there in storage for 30 years that I can recall. No museum at Mojave and too big to haul away? Doesn't sound promising.

Seems that at least one could be acquired by the air museum at Edwards AFB. It's just a few miles away and could probably be towed there.
