Seoul airshow 2009 (warbird pictures)

Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:39 pm

My little brother is stationed at Osan AB in Korea. He sent me these pictures from the Seoul airshow. He writes:

"Not much here that would interest you but the beat up P-51 and a AT-6 that was actually in pretty good shape. The C-47 was in pretty good shape as well, this wasn't really a airshow it was a defense trade show. That P-51 was beat up really bad, the ROKAF captain I talked to said that it had been in a hardened shelter with junk stacked on it for about 30 years, by looking at it's really crude sheetmetal work, I think it was a ABDR or sheet metal trainer."
