They did not cannibalize anything.

They reverse engineered the captured B-29's and built their own from scratch!

Yes...but if you read the article in the first provided link, they did canabalize the landing gear, the tail end, wing panels & some of the cowling components to get the Tu-60 airliner in the air.....not the Tu-4 bomber
