Gentlemen,
Here are five different Stang shots taken in the late 50's to mid 60's. The only machine I can make a positive ID on is N5465V.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please enjoy,
Gary

Do not really know Mr. Phillips, but as time allows I am going over all of his "Mustang Who? Cases. I will exhaust these before I bug him. Thank you very much for the idea.
Hope you enjoyed the photos.

First photo is N5467V while at Tallmantz. No. 4 is N5482V.
The red and white Mustang has a lot of similarities with N5428V from the 1960s, so that is my guess.

After some research, I believe the Red & White stang is N5460V, 44-72192 in the process of being repainted.

I have only seen one photo of N5460V with a similar scheme, but from that one it seems as though the dark trim is wider, no white wingtip, and the bottom half more orange than red.

I still feel N5428V is the a/c in question. Here are a couple of photos I've got of it.

OK TJ, I believe you are correct. I had never seen N5428V in the Red and White paint scheme.

A thousand apologies for the id on photo #4. It is in fact N2869D before Lyford repainted it as "Bardahl Special" and not N5482V. Something about the three white fuselage bands made me realize it wasn't 82V! Interesting to see that three Seattle based 51s (N2869D, N5482V, and N7715C) all wore pseudo 55th FG colors at one stage during the 60s.
So, this is the list so far as I can see it.
1) N5467V
2) Unknown
3) N5428V
4) N2869D
5) N5465V
