I notice in the pretty pics of TR flying that the airport crash truck is outside...waiting....is that normal for them or just for your benefit? Can't imagine them being outside all the time, I know how HOT it is there!!!!

The Hobby Fire and EMS crews would not have missed the show for Love nor money!
Since they were there we figured why the heck not have them ready to go?

We did give them the proviso that our guy would try and put out any engine fires, but if he waved them over, BY ALL MEANS come hose that baby down.

We are having new medals struck for our Kodak Colonels Kevin Hong and Chris Ebdon.
Both stayed way late and worked way hard on the rudder project at Ellington. That should be finished Friday morning and the plane back to Hobby before the Pres..ent of the New Nited States flys in to Houston for some soiree up in Aggie Land and we have TFRs dorking our plans.

Oh the carefree life of a Warbird operator.

Of all the places in this country, that would be the last I would have thunk he would show up at.

Put the tramp stamp on and then paint it. That way you are conforming with HQ and we don't have to look at the BUD.

Just curious, what caused the issues on the rudder? Might be something for the other Fortress folks out there to be aware of.
