This is by far the airshow I had the most fun at and I am looking forward to going again this year. We had a good WIXer turn out last year and hopefully we will have a greater one this year.

And rumor control has it that Ed Russel is bringing down several A/C from his collection including a honest to goodness Bf 109!

Sound off if you are going

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

There will be 8 of us from Long Island in the Top Gun tent, with an old Airstream camper parked on the field. Stop by for a cold one!

Sorry I missed you guys at Stratford Saturday. I went on Sunday and had a good time. It's nice to see Corsair props turning just a few feet away.

I will be flying in from Colorado, any suggestions on hotel accomodations would be greatly appreciated.

Rob,

Where did you get info on the Community College? I missed it on the HAG site. In the future, I'd consider staying there if I'm coming alone.

Warren,

Since, I'm trying to convince my wife and daughters to come with me, I booked my room .... the last one available by the way .... this morning at the Dansville Inn. The Logan Inn in Dansville is booked full for the 9th (I stayed there last year and it was okay). I suggest you book a room asap if you want a regular hotel/motel.

AIRIC is planning to be there.
He has a new job (promotion) and has been very busy.

Also, hope he don't get mad at me but, check out his work
on National Geographic website.

Who’s planning on joining the Friday Chicken Dinner and/or Saturday Steak Dinner?

I’m all over the Steak again this year, nothing like raw cow and a few cold ones to wash it down with.

I'm plan is to go Saturday and Sunday Show. Friday is the travel day so I'm not sure when we'll show up. I said we would stop at Antique stores and such.

There are no antique stores on I-90!

Of course... I wouldn't dare try to use that line myself.

How does one go about making a reservation at the college? What is the name of the place again?

I was thinking about leaving a some dark hour in the morning and getting to Geneseo before anything opened (other than the airfield). But that might not be a good idea or the right foot to start the weekend.

I was thinking of taking Rt 20 out, NYS just increased the tolls on I-90. :x

That would be painful Rob. I hope you can show.

If not, I'm sure your ears will be ring the whole time (or what ever that saying goes when folks are talking about you)
